I've heard that the owner later increased the boost and achieved about 170 hp on the engine...!! No, we have no annual TÃœV in Denmark, only every other year. The only way to get this kind of engine streetlegal is as kammiz explains; to get it approved with a dynotest that shows that the brakes are approved to the effect of the engine. Most people use Rekord vented 246mm discs and drums at rear, this allows for 150 hp. The 1,9 CIH brakes easilly gets approved for a 1,2 turbo'ed engine with carburettor as they seldom have more than 100 hp. I don't know much more about the injected turbokadett other that it's running an intercooler and domeshaped chambers in the cylinderhead. I actually can't remember if the pistons are forged ore standard 1,2n items. This one runs with a 1,2n engine, 1,5mm copper headgasket, Volvo turbo-carburettor (from a 244?), 285 camshaft and oilcooled pistons.
