ich bin norwegisch und meine deutsch ist nicht gut. ich will in english schreiben.

i have a 1969 kadett b and i need to find out what NCS color code the paint on my car is.

this is the paint code on my car, L445 BB:



and this is my car:



as you can see the original color of my car is the beige/brown color.

a friend of mine that works in a paintshop has a catalogue and the only color we could find that said 445 was "brilliant-gelb" and was from 1973.

does anybody know what is the right paint code for my car? and can anybody please help me find out what the ncs code is?

The name of the color is "sandbeige".

"BB" stands for color on roof (first "B" sandbeige) and body paint (second "B" also sandbeige)

Nein, das ist nicht richtig. Sandbeige 440 wurde verwendet von Fahrgestellnummer ..1234069 bis ..1550199.
Von Fahrgestellnummer ..1550200 bis ..1888817 gab es Mistralbeige 448. Beide Farben tragen wie alle Beige-Töne den Farb-Code BB.
Die 445 ist die Polster-Nummer. Rotes Standard-Kunstleder. Das Bild zeigt eine solche Ausstattung in einem späteren Rot.

No, that is not correct. Sand-beige 440 used of chassis number ..1234069 to ..1550199.
Of chassis number ..1550200 to ..1888817 there was Mistral-beige 448. Both colors wear the color code BB, like all beiges. The 445 is the interior number. Red standard leatherette. The picture shows such an equipment in a later red.

yes, you`re right, it`s mistralbeige 448. It can be seen because of the identification number of your Kadett.
I don`t know the ncs-code but every car painter should be able to mix it correctly when you tell him this number of the colour.
The other number (445) ist the code for the interiour.
Sorry for my bad English, I don`t speak it very often...

als Farbe stimmt das zwar, aber beim Kadett B gab es erstens kein signalgelb (erst beim C) und zweitens ist die 445 der Code für die Innenausstattung .

Farben sind abhängig vom Licht. Wenn du deinen Wagen in der Garage mit Blitz fotographierst, dann wird er anders aussehen, als wenn er in der Sonne steht. Wenn man diese Lackmischkarten mit 3 verschiedenen Scannern einscannt, dann wird Mistralbeige 3 mal verschieden aussehen... Glaube es Rainer und mir, es ist 448 Mistral-Beige. Mistral-Beige gab es etwa von 9/68 bis 8/69. 445 ist die Polsternummer. Der Wagen müsste eine Kunstharzlackierung haben, kein Acryllack.

Colors depend on the light. If you take a photo of your car in the garage with lightning, then it will look different, as if he is located in the sun.
